Reluctantly parted my lips to speak again.
Words ran down my face, staining the sand.
Words of demise stuck under my skin.
Never to be spoken or heard again.
Producing endless thought and endless pain.
To cherish and be held in endless disdain.
The Sun rises this morning, my words in it's glow
Then words fell empty, their meaning you'll never know.
Glowing and blooming in the warming rays,
Wonderous and lush, looming for the eyes to tell
Beginning to wilter my innate ability to feel
Beginning to wilter
my innate ability to feel
As you feel the tide subside and open your eyes
This final act, an absolute engagement
To the steely touch of cold hands upon your thighs
This final act, an absolute engagement
Reluctantly slit my lips to speak again.
Blood ran down my face, pooling where I stand.
Thoughts of demise stuck under my skin.
Never to be spoken or heard again.
Never to be spoken
Or heard again.
My blood, your blood,
They cannot wash this one away.
My blood, your blood,
They cannot wash this one away.
My blood, your blood,
My blood, your blood
My blood, your blood
My blood, your blood
I'm a big fan of The Faceless middle two albums and when I saw Lyle Cooper was on this album I knew I needed to check it out. I bought the discography almost instantly, reminds me a little of The Faceless and a bit more of Fallujah who I also adore. Well worth the money, Support these great Musicians! dragonslayer8228
